EDTA Liquid plays a critical role in endodontic treatment processes. It is specifically designed to facilitate root canal instrumentation, particularly in atretic canals, and to remove the smear layer from the inner surface of prepared canals. This product maximizes treatment effectiveness by increasing the filling capacity of the canal paste.

Areas and Methods of Use

EDTA Liquid can be used in endodontic, prosthetic, and periodontal applications. In endodontic applications, a small amount of EDTA Liquid is placed at the root canal entrance before starting preparation and left for 2-3 minutes. During this time, the product interacts with the dentin and takes effect. In prosthetic applications, it is recommended to drip a few drops of EDTA Liquid into the root canal and wait for 5 minutes. In periodontal treatments, a similar application is performed to clean the granulation tissue.
