Promdia Iodoform Gauze is a high-quality medical material that plays a critical role in endodontic applications. Each box contains two pieces of 25 cm long iodoform gauze. This product is designed to clean necrotic tissue after tooth extraction and to support the healing process.

Instructions for Use

Before application, the extraction site must be anaesthetised. Then, necrotic tissue in the extraction socket should be carefully cleaned with a sterile curette. Following cleaning, the area should be rinsed with oxygenated water and physiological saline to reduce the risk of infection. This rinsing procedure is followed by packing the alveolar bone, thereby promoting fresh clot formation.

In the final stage, eugenol-impregnated gauze soaked in iodoform, which has analgesic properties, is placed in the extraction socket. This dressing should be repeated at regular intervals until the patient's symptoms subside. Promdia Gauze Show More
