1- Description Prozoe Cement, a zinc oxide-eugenol-based temporary filling cement, has a pH of 7–8. The material is easy to prepare by hand. When used as a temporary filling material, it is durable enough to withstand masticatory forces. It is also easy to remove. It adheres well to cavity walls. 2- Indications / Indications Zinc oxide-eugenol-based cement is indicated in dentistry as a temporary filling material. 3- How to use Thoroughly mix the required amounts of powder and liquid on a cold, dry cement glass until a smooth paste is obtained. The mixing ratio is approximately 1 g powder / 0.3 g liquid. The optimum consistency is a paste consistency similar to putty. Slightly different consistencies are acceptable. Mixing time: approximately 1.5–2 minutes. Intraoral setting time: 4–6 minutes.
