Indications / Uses Sodium Hypochlorite Vital™ is indicated as a topical antiseptic during the chemomechanical preparation of the root canal system, for smear layer removal, for surface asepsis after placement of a rubber dam, and during cavity disinfection. The manufacturer recommends the application of Sodium Hypochlorite Vital™ on vital pulp tissue exposed during vital pulp therapies, such as Direct Pulp Capping, Partial Pulpotomy, and Total Pulpotomy. For revitalization/revascularization treatments, Sodium Hypochlorite Vital™ and EDTA LIQUID are recommended as root canal irrigation solutions. Directions for Use Place a rubber dam prior to use. Personal protective equipment is recommended for the clinician (goggles, mask, gloves) and for the patient (goggles). Transfer Sodium Hypochlorite into sterile Luer-Lok™ lockable syringes.
