ViscoStat hemostatic solution is suitable for use in a variety of dental and oral surgical procedures to control superficial capillary bleeding. These procedures include fixed prosthetics, restorative-operative treatments, periodontal therapy, etc. ViscoStat hemostatic is also recommended for retrofillings, impacted canines, gingivectomy, and as a "fixative" in pulpotomy. It produces deep hemostasis. It stops bleeding in seconds, reducing chair time. It does not delay healing of soft and hard tissues. It eliminates sulcular fluid for optimal bonding. It reduces costly re-impressions. Tip: Prevent leakage caused by sulcular fluid contamination during bonding procedures. Immerse and isolate Ultrapak™ braided suture in hemostatic and then follow with a strong air/water spray. Note: Do not use epinephrine preparations with ferric sulfate products (ViscoStat, Astringedent), as a blue/black precipitate will form.
